Learning and Development
It is our policy to provide a blended approach to learning and development for all team members, in order that our staff can perform their duties more effectively whilst developing their full potential.
Cambian believes in giving everybody the opportunity to grow in their role and develop their skills in line with our business needs. Our learning and development strategy includes the pursuit of both academic and vocational qualifications at university, college or at work. In addition we have invested in and developed our own on-line learning programme, 'Cambian Achieve', which is available to all employees.
Everyone undertakes an initial induction programme where an introduction to Cambian and our values is followed by mandatory / compliance training involving a combination of e-learning modules, work based activities, and practical workshops. Training is updated regularly and our staff are subject to continual support and appraisals. Failure for our staff to keep up with this will receive appropriate action.

Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) awards reinforce skills, knowledge and capabilities and are relevant to a person’s area of work or chosen career path.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Cambian recognises that our services benefit and improve from staff’s on-going development in terms of skills and knowledge. The company encourages and supports CPD at all levels by providing opportunities to attend seminars and conferences as well as providing podcasts and seminars on-line through the internal Achieve learning programme.
